1. Hydraulic fracturing related to oil / shale gas exploitation;

2. Underground engineering disaster rock bolt and grouting reinforcement;

3. Building structure and foundation reinforcement;

4. Dynamic response analysis and vibration control of large structures such as bridges.

Personal profile:

ZHANG Bo, male, born in May 1977, Han nationality, PhD, National registered structural engineer, member of the Foundation Pit Engineering Professional Committee of Shandong Civil Engineering Society. Served as professor andDoctoral supervisor of the Department of Engineering Mechanics of Shandong University. Received a master's degree in solid mechanics from Shandong University in June 2006, received a doctorate degree in engineering mechanics from Shandong University in June 2009, and worked at Shandong University in July 2009. Worked as a visiting scholar at the University of Toronto, Canada in December 2013 to January 2015.

There are 18 scientific research projects hosted or participated in the research, including 2 general projects of the National Natural Science Foundation of China and 5 research projects in progress. The research results are closely integrated with the actual projects and have achieved great economic and social benefits.

More than 40 papers have been published in well-known domestic and foreign journals such as “Tunnelling and Underground Space Technology”, “Journal of China Coal Society”, “Chinese Journal of Rock Mechanics and Engineering”, and “Rock and Soil Mechanics”, of which more than 30 papers are indexed with SCI / EI. 2 invention patents are authorized.
