The School of Civil Engineering of Shandong University is a vigorous, energetic and vigorous college, which has strong scientific research strength and distinctive school functions.

In 1947, we originally established the school of civil engineering. School of Civil Engineering is composed of four undergraduate teaching departments, a Engineering Research Center of the Ministry of Education, a provincial key laboratory, six provincial engineering technology research centers and engineering laboratories, and a experimental center. There are more than 120 faculty members, including 34 professors and 47 associate professors.
We has two postdoctoral mobile stations in civil engineering and mechanics, a doctoral degree in civil engineering first-level disciplines, and a doctoral degree in engineering mechanics second-level disciplines. There are four first-level master's degree programs and nine second-level master's degrees and four undergraduate majors. There are more than 700 full-time undergraduate students and 360 graduate students.

In the past five years, the college has undertaken more than 400 scientific research projects, which included National Basic Research Program of China “973”, National High Technology Research and Development of China “863”, and Natural Science Foundation of China “NSFC”. We also has won two Second Class Prizes of The State Scientific and Technological Progress Award, a top Class Prizes of The Science and Technology of Shandong Province, and 15 First Class of Provincial and Ministerial.
We proposed the grand goal of building a world-class college at the 120th anniversary of Shandong University. The development of the college has ushered in a new period of opportunity after the implementation of major national “the Belt and Road Initiatives” strategy.
